Upton's fine run is halted
FIFTH-placed Upton’s Midlands Three West (South) three-game winning run was ended by a 45-26 defeat at title-chasing Old Wheatleyans.
But Newent kept up their Gloucester Premier Division championship charge with a 22-3 success at basement boys Southmead thanks to tries from Dan Bubb-Sacklyn, Barney Goatley, Jake Harkness and Jamie Rice.
Ross Webb converted one.
