NEWENT chairman Dennis Hamlen warned next season will be the most demanding in the ambitious rugby club’s history.
The RFU Senior Vase and Gloucester Premier Division champions tackle Western Counties North in 2014-15.
At their annual meeting, Hamlen said they needed to raise more money as well as requiring more off-field help.
He toasted Tristan Veale on being the most successful captain in their history.
The committee recommended the coaching staff be reappointed under head coach Andy Addis, which was accepted unanimously.
With Steve John leaving, the second XV coaches will be Greg Tovey and Ollie Wood.
