AUSTRALIA international Cooper Vuna is still to make his Worcester Warriors debut after suffering an injury in training.
The 27-year-old had been poised to make his bow against Plymouth Albion at Sixways on Saturday.
Fly-half Ryan Mills was also sidelined despite having been named in the starting line-up on Friday lunchtime.
“Ironically, we are trying to raise the tempo of some of our training during the week because we are not able to play at a pace at the weekends and we got a couple of knocks because of it,” explained Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan.
“We know that as we get closer to the play-offs it will be more about making sure the main men are fit.
“We have been a little bit more live and we have picked up a couple of knocks which we thought would clear up and we’d have been able to get through.”
Warriors’ backline struggled as the hosts recorded a 29-8 win against Plymouth.
Ryan said: “Losing Mills and Cooper late in the day showed because the things we were trying to play were built around certain people.”
