WORCESTER Warriors have signed loosehead prop Na'ama Leleimalefaga from French side Montpellier.

He will move to Sixways in the summer after eight years with Montpellier, during which time he has featured in the Top 14 and Champions Cup.

Leleimalefaga, 27, has gained international recognition with Samoa and was part of his country's World Cup squad in 2007.

Leleimalefaga said: "I am really looking forward to the prospect of joining such an ambitious club and I cannot wait to get started.

"The progress of the Club has been remarkable in recent times and I am excited about the challenge of joining a competitive environment.”

Warriors director of rugby Dean Ryan said: "Na'ama is a powerful prop who will add yet more competition to our squad and give us another option amongst a talented front row.

"He has experienced the highest level of club rugby this season and has represented his country so we look forward to welcoming him to the Sixways.”
