BROMYARD earned a winning bonus point in a hard-fought 39-19 success at Aston Old Edwardians in Midlands Four West (North).

Matt Swain crossed for an early try and added a penalty almost immediately.

OEs hit back with two well-worked tries but Bromyard led at half-time.

Their advantage was courtesy of a well-timed John Pudge pass that put Rob Legge over the line.

The second half saw John Parker make a pitch-length break to put Chris Muntz Torres in for a try.

Parker scored himself after his skilful brother Alex evaded a number of tackles to pass him the ball.

Jamie Gibbons added another for Bromyard before the game descended into a mass brawl, which saw OEs lose two players to red cards.

The visitors’ captain Sam Sayce received a yellow.

John Parker capitalised on the numerical advantage to crash over for his second try late on as triumphant Bromyard climbed to third in the table.
