THREE star names from the world of rugby will be putting youngsters through their paces at Malvern Rugby Club’s summer camp.
Ex-South Africa and Worcester Warriors full-back Thinus Delport, Graham Smith, a World Cup winning coach with England Women, and Malvern’s new director of rugby Rob Cook, who has previously played in the Aviva Premiership with Gloucester, will run the sessions.
The event for boys and girls from under 7s to under 17s will take place at Spring Lane between Wednesday, July 26 and Friday, July 28.
Youth chairman Neil Palmer said: “It is fantastic to be able to host a rugby camp at Malvern RFC this summer.
“As you would expect with Graham, Thinus and Rob joining the touchline team, interest has been really high, with lots of children and their parents taking the opportunity to join the camp.”
