EDITH FRANCES ASHBY Treasured memories of my Mother who passed into Heaven, May 20th, 1997. Mother, twenty two years ago you said goodbye, Your destination God's mansion in the sky. One day we will come to the end of our journey, And perhaps never meet anymore, Till we gather in the heaven's bright city, Far away on that beautiful shore. If we never meet again this side of Heaven, As we struggle through this world and it's strife, There's another meeting place somewhere in Heaven, By the side of the River of Life, Where your fragrant roses bloom forever, And where separations occur no more, If my prayers are answered in Heaven, I will meet you on that beautiful shore.
