Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) Worcestershire County Council (Malvern Hills District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2019 [Disabled Person's Parking Place and Prohibition of Waiting and Revocation of Limited Waiting on Old Street, Upton Upon Severn] Worcestershire County Council are to consider making an Order the effect of which will be to create a disabled person's parking place on the following length and side of road in Upton Upon Severn:-Old Street (west side) from a point 106.5 metres north of its junction with Backfields Lane for a distance of 6.6 metres in a northerly direction. Prohibit waiting at any time from a point 113.1 metres north of its junction with Backfields Lane for a distance of 3.8 metres in a northerly direction. Revoke limited waiting 1 hour no return within

I hour Monday - Saturday 8.00am - 6.00pm from a point 106.5 metres north of its junction with Backfields Lane for a distance of 10.4 metres in a northerly direction.



The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.

A copy of the draft Order, relevant plan and Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Order may be inspected at Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern WR14 3AF and County Hall, Spetchley Road, Worcester, WR5 2NP during normal office hours. (Civil Enforcement Area) (WaitingRestrictionsand Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2013 (Variation) Order 2019 [Prohibition ofWaiting (Revocations and Proposals) on Queen Elizabeth Road, Coronation Road and Princess Margaret Avenue, Malvern]

On 20 June 2019 Worcestershire County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to revoke prohibitionofwaitingatanytimeonthefollowing lengthsandsidesofroadsinMalvern:-Queen Elizabeth Road (north east side) from its junction with Coronation Road for adistance of14.3 metresinanorth westerlydirection.CoronationRoad (north west side) from its junction with Queen Elizabeth Road for a distance of 5.7 metres in a north easterly direction; (south east side) from its junction withQueenElizabethRoadforadistanceof11 metres in a north easterly direction.

Impose prohibition of waiting Queen Elizabeth Road (north east side) from its junction with Princess Margaret Avenue for a distance of 14.3 metres in a north westerly direction and for a distance of 17.3 metresinasouth easterlydirection.PrincessMargaret Avenue (north west side) from its junction with QueenElizabethRoadforadistanceof5.7metresina north easterly direction; (south east side) from its junction with Queen Elizabeth Road for a distance of

II metres in a north easterly direction.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by applicationtotheHighCourtwithin6weeksfromthe date on which the Order was made. Order 2019

Order made: to close that part of New Road from its junction with B4208 Castlemorton to its junction EightOaks.

Reason: New/Replacement Water Main Exemptions: to permit access to any land or premises frontingthehighwayaffectedwherethereisnoother form ofaccess; and to allow the works to be undertaken. Alternative route: New Road, Castlemorton Common, Castlemorton from B4208, B4208 Castlemorton and vice versa.

Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 19 days Commencing: 8 July 2019
