TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY BDA 7 (DOWN AMPNEY PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council intend to make Order to close temporarily under Sections 14,15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) part of Public Bridleway BDA 7 (Down Ampney) from its junction with Public Footpath BDA 6 extending in a generally south-easterly direction for a distance of approximately 1450 metres to its junction with the Marston Meyseyto Cricklade Road. The bridleway falls within Down Ampney Parish in the Cotswold District, in the County of Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public during a car rally.
The Order will come into force on the between the hours of 06:00 and 20:00 on Saturday
4th April 2020, Saturday 2nd May 2020 and Saturday 23rd May 2020. Site notices will be
displayed when the closure is in place. After this date if the closure is still required it will be
necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.
There is no alternative route.
Emergency access and pedestrian access will be maintained

TEMPORARY CLOSURE C/274 COATES LANE (COATES PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council intend to make an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close part of the C/274 Coates Lane in a North Easterly direction from outside the entrance to the sewage works for a distance of approximately 30 metres.
The reason for the closure is to carry out the installation of a new water service. The road is expected to be closed on the 31st March 2020 until 6th April 2020 only until the works have been completed. For further information, please contact Gloucestershire Highways on 08000 514 514 or visit

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF KWG 24 (WITHINGTON PARISH) COTSWOLD DISTRICT
Gloucestershire County Council has closed temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) part of Public Footpath KWG 24 from its junction with the High Street extending in a generally north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 245 metres to its junction with KWG 26.
The public footpath falls within Withington Parish in the Cotswold District, Gloucestershire.
The closure is necessary to safeguard the public during works on a collapsed wall.
The Public Footpath was originally closed for 21 days by Notice commencing
23rd January 2020, and as works were not complete, extended again until 4th March 2020.
However, as the works to remedy the problem have not been completed it is necessary to
close the Footpath by an Order which can authorise the closure for up to six months.
This legal Order will authorise the closure of the public footpath for up to six months from
the date of the first Notice. However, if the problem continues after this time then it will be
necessary to make an application to the Secretary of State for an extension to the closure.
Alternative Routes - There are no alternative routes.
