  • Bedrooms: 3
Positioned in the centre of one of the most beautiful and renowned villages in the area, within a cluster of contemporary Cotswold cottages, this stylishly appointed end-terrace, two storey, three bedroomed village retreat has the advantage of a walled, south facing patio garden to the rear and the advantage of two allocated parking spaces within the private courtyard to the front.

The character of the property has been enhanced over recent years, with the addition of African slate flooring to the whole of the ground floor, renewed ash black double-glazed windows and French doors, and the property has an engineered oak staircase and all of the rooms at first floor level.

The property has a full-width living room to the rear with twin sets of double patio doors leading onto the garden, there is an attractive fitted kitchen with a good complement of units incorporating a built-in oven and hob, fridge and freezer, and there are full-height built-in wardrobes to one of the double bedrooms and the advantage of a ground floor cloakroom. The property has gas-fired central heating from a recently renewed boiler.

The views at first floor level extend in a southerly direction over gardens and trees towards distant countryside and give a real feeling of being in the country. There are many scenic walks to be enjoyed around Blockley village and Dove Dale woods, all of which can be commenced from the front door, and all in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Blockley is one of the most popular villages in the North Cotswolds, positioned mid-way between the cafe society of Chipping Campden and the more traditional market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, where there are rail links to London Paddington. The village has two public houses, a community-run village store and tea room, a nursery and primary school and is within the catchment for Chipping Campden secondary school.
