Location & Description

Fir Tree Cottage comprises a modest but charming two bedroom detached Cottage which has a wonderfully light, south easterly aspect, and has been refurbished over recent years in an appealing manner. The original Cottage is of stone construction, currently part rendered and colour washed, under a primarily double pitched, composite slate roof.

Each of the two reception rooms has its own wood burning stove, and one of the exterior walls to the living room comprises most attractive stonework with inset brickwork above the fireplace.

Although compact, the kitchen is well fitted, with both Oak fronted units and several appliances, whilst adjacent is the bathroom and W.C.

Views from the kitchen window stretch for many miles to the north, extending in the far distance to wooded hillsides.

There is a most useful outdoor lean-to structure to the south western end of the Cottage, and a small, principally paved area of garden to the north east side of the cottage.

Just over a little lane is an area currently given over solely to parking for Fir Tree Cottage, but which could be transformed into a small area of garden if required.

Facilities within easy walk include well known local pub The Royal Arms, Primary School, Church and Village Hall. The latter is one of the reasons why Llangrove has an enthusiastic series of local groups, much involved in the social life of the village.

Both Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth are within 15 minutes drive, the interlinking A40 dual carriageway giving first class access to the national motorway network. In detail the property comprises:
