Sorority girl, blonde bombshell Elle Woods dumped by her sweetheart Warner Huntington III for not being serious enough is determined to show him what a mistake he has made as she leaves UCLA for Havard Law School.

The stage production is based on the 2001 box office smash which starred Reese Witherspoon.

Its fluffy, its pink, its sugary and Lucie Jones with her adorable chihuahua Bruiser stole the hearts of everyone with a show stopping performance, literally when Paulette's bulldog Rufus arrived on stage unexpectedly during the first half that had Lucie and the audience laughing out loud. She has great stage presence and a wonderful voice.

Lucie and David Barrett (playing Emmett Forrest) are to be congratulated for the chemistry between them which felt real.

Paulette (Rita Simons) best know for playing Roxy Mitchell in Eastenders was hilarious throughout, I especially enjoyed her Bend and Snap.

The company were superb vibrant and energetic you could feel the positivity, none more so than during Brooke Wyndham's song Whipped Into Shape which featured fantastic choreography and some amazing skipping work - outstanding.

In the words of the pink princess turned legal eagle 'you must always have faith in yourself'.

Legally Blonde is a fabulous fun filled show - on until Saturday,  7th October at the Bristol Hippodrome
