Kelly Brook has said she feels nervous about her comedy skills in new US sitcom One Big Happy.
The model has travelled across the pond to star in the TV show as the new girlfriend of a man who is having a baby with his lesbian best friend (played by Elisha Cuthbert).
She admitted: “It was daunting in the beginning, but I think I’m around such fantastic people who are so experienced and it’s so refreshing every week to be handed a really funny script.
“But also a bit daunting that then I have to go and deliver it all and land all the jokes. You’re scared but excited, it’s all of those things. It’s just a whole new world, really.”
According to The Sun, Kelly also added: “I’m aware there are jokes in there about having big breasts. I’m in on it. I know what I’m doing and the writers are really brilliant.”
She continued that co-star Nick Zano had taken full advantage of the casting process for his on-screen girlfriend.
“He didn’t want to say yes to the first girl because he got to kiss them all in the screen test, so I think he went through quite a few before they said, ‘Nick, you’ve got to pick someone now’,” she said.
One Big Happy launches on NBC in the US later this month.
