It’s the moment Kings Of Leon fans have been waiting for – the band have released the video for their new album’s title track, WALLS.
They’d previously said that the name was an acronym for something but didn’t reveal what it was… and the just-dropped video doesn’t leave us any the wiser.
WALLS is due to be released on October 14 and this track, the final one on the album, is pretty low key with a minimalist video.
Recently, base guitarist Jared Followill revealed that his mum thought that the band – made up of him, his brothers Caleb and Nathan, and their cousin Matthew – should be more like Taylor Swift.
He said: “[She'll say] ‘You guys need to do this, blah blah blah, I saw Taylor Swift go sign [autographs for fans] for hours the other night and you guys never do that kind of thing. Why don’t you guys go out and sign for four hours? That’s why she’s the most famous woman in the world.’
“She’ll always get onto us after a show. ‘I couldn’t hear Caleb’s voice last night at the concert. You need to tell your soundman, he’s gotta turn Caleb up!’”
