POLICE are appealing for help in tracing the owners of jewellery recovered from a property in Malvern.
The pieces are a white metal jewellery box with a red velvet-type interior, a white metal charm bracelet with an array of charms including a violin and a small bag and a pair of blue cameo-style clip-on earrings in a box marked Wedgwood.
Detective Constable Kelly Browning said: “These items were found during a house search in Malvern and we believe they may be stolen. We are releasing the picture of them to try and help trace the owners.
“We are asking anyone who recognises these pieces to contact us straight away.”
Anyone who recognises these items should contact DC Browning on 101. Information can also be passed on anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
DC Browning added: “We want to remind people there are a number of things they can do to help protect their property during the winter months such as always making sure doors and windows are locked when they leave the house.
“Also make sure keys are left out of view and use a timer to switch on lights when it gets dark if you are not at home.”
