SUPERB musicians will return to a beautiful setting for the sixth time this summer.
Wye Valley Music presents the Music in June series which features four concerts in inspiring venues to listen to great live music and enjoy social events.
The varied programme of chamber music features 11 composers represented among 14 works to be played across four venues throughout the month.
The Bridges Centre in Monmouth hosts the first on Sunday, June 1 at 4pm with the London Bridge Ensemble performing pieces by Mozart, Schumann and Mendelssohn, followed by Hom Church, near Walford, at 11.30am on Saturday, June 14.
College Hall at Hereford Cathedral is the host venue on Sunday, June 22 at 4pm and St Briavels Church, near Monmouth, brings the series to a close on Sunday, June 29 at 7.30pm.
The associated events include lunches, private tours of Hereford Cathedral and St Briavels Castle and the now-customary Strawberries and Pink Fizz reception at St Briavels.
