IT'S eggstraordinary! When staff at the community shop at Bromsberrow took delivery of their regular consignment of free-range chicken eggs, they were astonished to find a whopper amongst them.
Measuring almost three inches in length, six inches in circumference and and weighing in at nearly four ounces, it was more than thrice the size of the other eggs.
One of the shop's volunteers, Jan Long, who purchased the egg, said: "I imagine there must have been a certain amount of clucking when that was laid. My husband was delighted as the egg contained four yolks which he enjoyed for breakfast."
