HUNDREDS of children took part in a traditional parade through Hereford to mark St George's Day.
And many residents turned out to line the city streets in support of the youngsters and to join the celebrations.
The event, run by the district's South Marches Scouts, returned to the city centre this year after it was replaced with an activity day at Whitecross High School last year.
All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides from across the district took part in the parade, with youngsters as young as six involved.
The parade travelled up St Owen Street, passing the cenotaph and going up through High Town, along Broad Street and on to Hereford Cathedral where a service was held.
