THE Leominster Vintage Club is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Started by Brian Charles in 1997 for anyone with an interest in 'things vintage' many thousands of pounds have been donated to charities in the area over the years.

The club is once again holding its annual Vintage Working Day at Highlands Farm, Brimfield, SY8 4NY on September 10.

One of the main attractions of the day is The Midlands Fire Rescue Display team showing its accident recovery procedures.

Classic working and static displays of cultivating and harvesting, bygone displays of cars, bikes, farm implements and household items will be on display.

There will be an interesting craft tent, competitions and a novelty dog show at 2pm.

After a very successful day in 2016 a donation of £1,200 was given to Birmingham Children's Hospital.

This year they have already raised £800 with a tractor ramble and the proceeds of the working day will be added and given to Hereford County Hospital.
