LIDL will submit a new planning application following community feedback.
Last week the budget supermarket chain withdrew its planning application for a new store on part of Wolf Business Park in Gloucester Road, Ross-on-Wye.
But there are plans to send a new application to Herefordshire Council next month.
A Lidl spokesman said: "We are incredibly grateful to the community for their ongoing support for our new store proposals.
"Following further discussions with the council, we will be submitting a new application in the next month, which will reflect feedback provided. As such, we have withdrawn the original application."
The application also included plans to build new employment premises at the business park.
The owners of the business park, the Wolf family, said planning approval for a new Lidl was essential to keep the site open for employment.
The family said they needed the money from selling part of the land to the supermarket to be able to build fit-for-purpose employment premises.
