A THEATRE project hopes to give a voice to unmarried mothers who gave birth to their children in homes in Herefordshire.

A number of homes existed in the county until the late 60s/ early 70s where unmarried mothers lived and gave birth to their children.

Supported by the Herefordshire’s A Great Place scheme, Feral Productions is putting together a performance project that will give a voice to the mothers as well as the people who worked within the homes.

Through theatrical performance they seek to tell the untold stories of resilience and bring to light the tales of courage, determination, strength and unity that brought women together from different walks of life.

If you have either direct or indirect experience of any of the mother and baby homes of Herefordshire’s past, contact Estelle at info@feralproductions.org or on 07801 069439. Anonymity is guaranteed.
