A TEENAGER who died earlier this year will be remembered at a gathering on what would have been his 18th birthday.

Stamford Griffin died, aged 17, on July 13 at Hereford County Hospital after he collapsed on the railway bridge on Old School Lane in Hereford during the early hours.

His family has organised a gathering for his 18th birthday on October 27 at the College Green playing fields from 6pm.

There will be a barbecue, a balloon release and a small fireworks display.

It will be a small gathering, mainly for close friends and family, but other people are welcome to join in.

If you are planning to attend please let Tyler Griffin know on Facebook.
