SPOOKY fun was to be found in the library of the John Masefield High School in Ledbury this week, thanks to a pumpkin-themed competition.
A spokesman said: "To celebrate Halloween this October, our library is holding a whole school competition.
"Students have been inspired to decorate, cave, paint or dress up a pumpkin to represent a book or a character from a book they love.
"So far entries have included the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland, Frankenstein, The Chronicles of Narnia and Tinkerbell amongst many others.
"The creativity shown by students is outstanding and many have been using techniques learnt in art lessons to depict their wide ranging reading tastes."
The winner will get a Kindle Fire Tablet.
