GOODRICH Castle was praised by William Wordsworth as the "noblest ruin in Herefordshire".

Historian Adrian Pettifer, meanwhile, described it as the "most splendid in the county, and one of the best examples of English military architecture".

But wouldn't it be wonderful see the castle in its glorious heyday in the late 13th century when it developed its familiar concentric format that included luxurious living quarters and formidable defences?

Well, now is there is an opportunity to see the castle as it was then... without having to use your imagination.

With the help of technology, and following expert advice from an architect, On Stride have created a digital reconstruction of Goodrich Castle (along with five other castles from across the UK).
