FIVE men appeared in court in relation to drug charges in Hereford.

Last Thursday at Hereford Crown Court, Artaf Hussain, 32, appeared on a video link from prison.

He pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply cocaine, a class A drug, and also to conspiracy to supply diamorphine, a class A drug, between November 23, 2016 and October 12, 2018.

The court heard he is currently serving a life sentence for 24 years and 178 days imposed on August 6 last year for the murder of Robert Eacock.

Anthony Lowe, 28, pleaded guilty to the same two charges. He is also currently in prison.

Mitchell Arnold, 20, who is in prison, did not enter any pleas.

Daniel Quinn, 31, of Radford Close, Walsall, entered not guilty pleas to the same two charges.

Paul Chamberlin, 46, of Lichfield Avenue, Hereford pleaded not guilty to the same two charges but pleaded guilty to count three - permitting supply of a controlled drug from premises.

A trial has been set for May 28 and is expected to last for nine days.

Lowe and Hussain will be sentenced after the trial.
