Whilst parts of the country have seen snow falling today, Herefordshire has instead been hit by heavy rain.
A yellow warning of snow remains in place for tonight, with the Met Office warning of rain turning to snow, especially on high ground, before turning icy as temperatures drop into minus figures overnight.
But there could be a lot more of the white stuff later in the week, with forecasters predicting that heavy snow is on its way on Thursday.
And the BBC states that the latter part of the week will see much more of the white stuff with flakes falling through the afternoon and much of the evening.
Temperatures will also remain low and the Met Office has issued a yellow warning of snow and ice for the county on Thursday and Friday.
