Boys from Herefordshire have followed in the footsteps of some of the country’s best-known rock bands.
Linton’s Thomas Butt, Weston-under-Penyard’s Jack Bullock and Whitchurch’s Lewis Smith-Milne were among children who spent the day recording at Rockfield Studios.
Queen, Oasis, Kasabian, Black Sabbath, The Charlatans and The Stone Roses are just some of the legendary groups who have recorded albums at the iconic venue on the outskirts of Monmouth.
And the Herefordshire trio were among Year 4 pupils at Monmouth School Boys’ Prep who recorded a song, Oro My Little Boat (The Clancy Sisters), and had a fascinating insight into the history and workings of the famous venue during the special trip on Wednesday 30th January.
