A MULTI-vehicle crash has closed a county main road this morning.
The A417 is currently closed and police are in attendance after three vehicles crashed near Stretton Grandison, blocking both carriageways.
Three people were assessed for injuries by paramedics, who were called to the crash at the junction of Watery Lane and the A417 in the east of the county at 8.37am.
A police spokeswoman said: "One female has been taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment. Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
"Officers remain at the scene awaiting recovery of three vehicles involved."
