THE footbridge over the railway line at Colwall is due to be re-erected this weekend.
The bridge, at the village's railway station, was dismantled in January so that deterioration of the original steel structure could be repaired.
The refurbished and repainted bridge will be put back across the railway line overnight between Saturday and Sunday, when the work can be carried out without disrupting rail services.
Work to complete the refurbishment of the bridge will be carried out during the week, and it is hoped it will be reopened to the public on Friday, March 15.
