Pupils at Bosbury Primary School were excited and honoured to welcome High Sheriff of Herefordshire, Nat Hone, to officially open their new playground equipment.
The High Sheriff, who is soon to finish his one year tenure in office, arrived in his Court Dress and spoke to children about his role in supporting law and order in the county.
Headteacher Maggie Spence said: “It is so important for children to understand law and order in action. Nat is a great ambassador and a village resident. We were all very interested in hearing what he had to say, and see his full court dress.”
“ He was delighted to hear of the excellent efforts of the Friends of Bosbury School (FOBS) in fundraising for the new climbing frames and equipment. High Sheriff Nat has spent a lot of time supporting local voluntary organisations.”
