Locks Garage in Allensmore
THIS site, known for one particular treat, is certainly a lot bigger these days.
The picture shows Locks Garage in Allensmore in 1954 – before the days when queues would form to buy its famous ice creams.
The picture of the stopping point on the A465 between Hereford and Abergavenny was submitted by Hereford Times Camera Club member Tim Chandler.
He is the little chap stood in front of the car.
