Nozstock, the festival in The Hidden Valley near Bromyard, is back for its 21st season this summer.

And newly announced artists for the coming of age extravaganza include Sleaford Mods, Ed Solo, Ganda Boys, Ghettofunk Allstars and Naked Giants.

There will be comedy from Reginald D Hunter, Phil Kay, Phil Nichol, Dane Baptiste, Adam Bloom and Jayde Adams.

While you probably won’t need a yellow brick road to get there, the theme of this year’s festival is The Wizard Of Noz.

The festival itself, as always, will take place in “a

working farm set in beautiful Herefordshire countryside”, from Thursday, July 18 to Sunday July 21.

A spokesman said: “Nozstock The Hidden Valley is gearing up for the summer, which is starting to feel just a little bit closer.

The beautiful festival, set on an intimate fully working farm in the rolling Herefordshire countryside, reaches its 21st year this year as one of the country’s longest running events.

“It’s an odyssey of discovery, enchantment and adventure unlike anything else in the UK. The Nosworthy family curate one of the finest portfolios of music and arts, with a huge focus on keeping families entertained in the Little Wonderland Kids’ Area. There’s incredible attention to detail at every turn, across long lazy days and energetic nights.”

The spokesman added: “Coming in straight off the back of an extensive UK tour, the Sleaford Mods will undoubtedly put on a powerful show on the farm, headlining The Orchard. The electronic punk duo use minimalist beats, humour, and a lot of foul language to shine a light on the shortcomings of contemporary Britain and modern life.

“Other new additions Soeur, V.C Pines and The Stone Jets join the existing line up of Rudimental (DJ set), Soul II Soul, The Skatalites, David Rodigan, Hollie Cook and many more.”
