The first pride event will be held in Ross-on-Wye in August.
THE ORGANISERS of Ross-on-Wye's first ever gay pride are raising money to hold the event.
Charlii Withanii will run the LGBTQ+ pride event and has already secured a date and venue, but needs funding to pay at least travel expenses for artists.
There will be a fundraising event on Saturday, June 15 in the Hope and Anchor pub in Ross 11am-4pm, before the actual event on Friday, August 9.
Charlii Withanii said they have been lucky to have had so much support so far and want to put on a fantastic event that welcomes everyone regardless of age or identity.
