HILL walker Stephen Eckley has made a light-hearted video chronicling his ascent of Pen y Fan in rain and driving wind.
It was his second attempt to climb the peak. Ironically, he abandoned his first try 10 years ago because it was raining!
Stephen, aged 32, of Ledbury Road, Hereford, said climbing hills was his weekend hobby.
He said: "After walking Malvern on Saturday in readiness for the Help for Heroes walk on September 22 I came home and felt inspired to take on Pen y fan.. come rain or shine!
"I get a great sense of achievement doing this type of activity."
Stephen, who works as an estate agent, also does photography and editing.
Pen y Fan in the Brecon Beacons National Park is at 886m the highest peak in south Wales.
Always check the weather forecast before walking in remote places, and tell someone about your route and when you expect to be home. More advice here.
