PRIMARY school children near Leominster are asking local people to help with recycling plastics to put them in with a chance of winning a national competition.
Pembridge CE Primary School is currently sitting just outside the top 10 in the nationwide contest which ends on July 5. The winner will receive a new playground made of recycled plastic.
Local people can help them in their efforts to win the grand prize by dropping personal care and beauty waste such as product packaging caps, pumps and trigger sprays, plastic pots and flexible plastic tubes off to the school for recycling.
