SIR John Betjeman called Ludlow 'probably the loveliest town in England'.
Known as the Cathedral of the Marches, St Laurence's is one of the finest parish churches in England.
On Saturday, July 20, organ enthusiasts can listen to and learn about two marvellous organs.
One is the great Snetzler organ, and the other is the Wetheringsett organ, currently being housed in St Laurence's.
The programme will include a two course luncheon, a recital on the Snetzler organ, an historic tour of St Laurence's Church, led by experienced guides, a talk on each of the organs and the opportunity to play on the organs.
The fee of £25 includes lunch, tour, talks, time on the organ(s) and refreshments.
Bookings without lunch may be made at a cost of £12.50.
To book your place please send your remittance to Organ Recitals and Tours, Parish Office, No. 2 College Street, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 1AN.
