HEREFORD'S high street has suffered another blow as Cardmarket looks set to close its doors for good.
The budget greeting card store on Commercial Street is the latest in a line of Hereford retailers to announce they will be closing down, including jewellery chain H Samuel and Ann Summers.
It's thought the shop will close in September. WHSmith announced last year that it would close its Cardmarket stores once leases expire.
There are currently more than 30 empty shops across the city centre, the Hereford Times reported last month. Hundreds of businesses across the city were said to be in "significant financial distress", according to a leading insolvency firm.
