A SPATE of shed burglaries in one Herefordshire village has seen items ranging from ride on lawn mowers to a quad bike being stolen.
The latest in a line of thefts happened today (July 10) when offenders broke into a barn in Mathon, near the Worcestershire border. A Yamaha Breeze quad bike was stolen along with a breaker off a digger. A second quad bike was also damaged.
The first of the four break ins happened on April 17, at a different property, saw a hedge cutter, leaf blower and two chainsaws stolen.
Two more breaks ins in June saw offenders approach from fields as they stole several items of garden machinery from a property in Moor End Cross and a farm.
Anyone with information should contact police on 101. West Mercia Police are reminding residents in Mathon to remove items of value and to review their security.
