A WOMAN was cut free from her car by firefighters after a crash on the A49 last night.

An ambulance service spokesperson said they were called to reports of a two-vehicle crash near the junction with the B4348 Llanwarne turning at 6.22pm yesterday.

Two ambulances and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene, where one woman was trapped in her car.

Two people with minor injuries were assessed and discharged by paramedics at the scene.

One woman was trapped in her vehicle and was cut from the car by fire crews. She was treated for multiple injuries that are not believed to be life threatening before being taken to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment.
