Roadworks to start again on historic village cobbles
WORK on the historic cobbles in the centre of Grappenhall will take place throughout the summer.
Work starts on Monday and will take place along Church Lane between its junction with Broad Lane and Glebe Avenue from Monday to Saturday between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
The order is in place for seven weeks and the road may be closed at times when needed.
The work will see reconstruction and relaying of the cobbled road surface, including work to improve drainage.
