A VINTAGE post box is among a number of items stolen from properties across Herefordshire on Friday.

The lockable antique item, which is painted red, stands around two feet tall and has a domed top, was taken from outside a property in Woonton between 2pm and 8.45pm on July 19 (incident number 0761s 190719).

Meanwhile in Titley, a workshop building was broken into and searched on the same evening.

Tools and equipment including four nail guns, various power tools, circular saws, impactors and hand tools were stolen from the property (incident number 0277s 190719).

Another burglary took place in Stoke Lacy, where a container on a housing development was broken into and tools and equipment stolen.

Items including two wacker plates, a hydro breaker, two Honda generators and two Husqvarna petrol saws were taken (incident number 0144s 190719).

And an attempt was made to break in to a building on an industrial estate in Lower Hergest at around 2.15am.

No entry was gained and nothing has been reported stolen (incident number 0075s 190719).
