Paul Morris presenting the award to George Powell
PAUL Morris, chairman of Hereford Musical Theatre Company recently made a presentation to George Powell marking his 50 years as a member.
During his time as a member George was secretary for over 30 years and then had a spell as treasurer before becoming Patron.
George not only appeared in many shows but also directed over 20 productions.
The award was made to him during a visit to his new home on the Isle of Wight a couple of weeks ago.
