LEDBURY Town Council has handed out almost £25,000 this year to various local organisations.
The grant-giving evening took place on Wednesday, August 7, at at event hosted by town major, Cllr Phillip Howells.
A further presentation will take place with the Ledbury Youth Drop-in Centre, which has been awarded a grant payable over three years.
Town clerk, Angie Price said: "This year a total of £24,500 has been awarded to the following organisations within the town."
Organisations to benefit include The Carnival Association; Ledbury Poetry Festival; Community Action Ledbury & District; Ledbury Primary School PTA; Malvern Hills AONB Partnership; Ledbury Swifts; John Masefield High School; Ledbury Community Day; Ledbury Food Group; Age UK and the Ledbury Youth Drop-in Centre.
