DEVELOPERS want to convert the upper floors of a former town centre bank into flats.

Ben Tagg has submitted plans to Herefordshire Council to convert the empty floors above the Old Natwest building in Ross-on-Wye.

The ground floor and basement of the bank which closed in June last year are to remain as commercial use.

The proposed apartments will be between one and two bedrooms with the courtyard being developed to have a bin and secure bike store for residents, if approved.

Residents can view the plans on Herefordshire Council’s website and have until September 6 to comment.

Planners are expected to consider the scheme by September 26, this year.
