A VAN and car crashed in Cradley Heath this morning (Wednesday).
The accident happened in Newtown Lane at the junction of Foxoak Street at around 7.30am.
Firefighters from Haden Cross and Brierley Hill stations attended the scene of the crash.
A spokesman for West Midlands Fire Service said the driver of the van was treated at the scene by the ambulance service for minor injuries.
He was taken to Russells Hall Hospital for checks.
Brierley Hill Fire Station tweeted that: "Considering the damage luckily only minor injuries to the driver were sustained.
"Always wear your seatbelt..."
A spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service said it sent one ambulance and paramedics treated two men for minor injuries. Both were taken to Russells Hall Hospital for further checks.
Fire crews made the scene safe and left the incident in the hands of the police who were arranging vehicle recovery.
