Newent Co-op staff members Steve Hughes and Alex Jones joined with Newent in Bloom volunteers last Saturday, September 7, litter-picking car parks and footpaths in preparation for the Newent Onion Fayre.
The Fayre will take place on Saturday September 14, and 12,000 or more visitors ate expected at the Gloucestershire market town “ to enjoy the last free party of the summer”.
Newent in Bloom organises tidy-ups at different times a year in conjunction with supporting businesses and local organisations.
