RADNOR Valley School children visited Madley Environmental Centre recently to start their work on this term's theme ''Space: above and beyond'.
Teacher, Miss Burgoyne and her class, made up of Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 children, had a terrific day at the centre.
There they found out about satellites and what they do.
They measured the distance between the planets in our solar system and explored the different features aliens could have before making their own alien out of clay.
