THE controversial planning application for 625 new homes to the north of Ledbury viaduct comes before Herefordshire Council’s full planning committee on November 13.

The meeting will begin at 10am in The Council Chamber, Shire Hall.

Wellington Heath residents are particularly worried that the single proposed access could cause traffic jams and other problems on the Bromyard Road.

Village correspondent, Peter Constantine said: “The viaduct site and the access controversy continues to rumble on.

“ Anyone who is concerned about the latest proposed vehicular access plans can attend. A crowded public area would show interest and support for the objectors. Anyone can attend as an observer.”

Bloor Homes’ proposal for the location of new estate is in keeping with Herefordshire Council’s planning blueprint for the next two decades, the Core Strategy.
