The Chandos Symphony Orchestra will give its final Concert for 2019 at the Forum Theatre in Malvern.
The date will be November 17 at 7.30pm, and organisers are promising an evening to remember.
A spokesman said: "There is a special feel to this concert. Chandos the leading local amateur orchestra is giving a performance of Hector Berlioz Symphony Fantastique.
"One of his best known works, depicting unrequited love, a ball, a rural scene with distant thunder and nightmarish visions of a march to the scaffold plus a witches Sabbath!"
What more could one want as a Gothic treaty from a great Romantic composer?
The spokesman added: "The concert begins with the overture to the unfinished opera Les Franc Judges, being the only section not destroyed by Berlioz.
"A highlight of the evening is the welcome return of violinist Roberto Ruisi, a previous winner of the Chandos Young Musician competition, who is playing the ProKofief Violin Concerto No 2.
"Don’t miss this!"
