Hellensmusic welcomes the return of the multi prize-winning Elisabeth Zeuthen Schneider, performing on Saturday, November 23 with the highly acclaimed pianist William Howard. The duo's enterprising and evocative programme explores Nordic and Eastern European folk music and includes the joyous folky Beethoven Sonata in G. Also on the programme are From My Homeland by Smetana, Six Romanian Dances by Bartok, Svendsen's Romance and Grieg Sonata No 2.

Elsabeth Zeuthen SchneidertTeaches violin and chamber music at the Royal Danish Academy of Music and is artistic director of the Academy's junior strings. She has previously taught at the Academy of Music in Malmö and at the Academy of Music in Aalborg.

One of Britain’s leading pianists, William Howard enjoys a career that has taken him to over 40 different countries. His performing life consists of solo recitals, concerto performances, guest appearances with chamber ensembles and instrumentalists. In 1983 he founded the Schubert Ensemble, which gave its final concert in June 2018, having earned a worldwide reputation as one of the finest piano and string ensembles.
